Term 1 Events

Summer has finally arrived. A6 is enjoying swimming and we have been practising being safe in the pool. I am looking forward to our trip to the aquatic centre next Tuesday (5th December), so thank you to those parents who are coming to help on the day.
We are getting close to the Christmas season. The children are practising a few carols, so that always feels like Christmas is not far away.

I is for iceblock

On Friday we made ice blocks from watermelon.
Today we wrote about what we liked about them.  
Ask your tamariki how they made them and what they used for seeds.

    Those ice blocks sound DELICIOUS! I have never heard of making ice blocks from water melon, I think I will have to go home and try it out for myself!
